My 7-Day Phuket Itinerary
The first step in planning your Phuket adventure is setting your dates and booking flights and accommodations. Phuket’s international airport makes it easily accessible. The best time to visit weather-wise is between December and March, which is also peak season, so book your flights, accommodations, and activities like island-hopping trips in advance.
Where To Stay in Phuket, Thailand
Phuket offers a wide range of accommodations for every budget and traveler type. From luxury hotels and family-friendly resorts to budget hotels and backpacker hostels, the island has it all. The best beaches are on the West Coast. Patong Beach is great for nightlife and budget travelers, while Kata, Karon, and Kamala beaches are popular with families and couples. Bang Tao and Mai Khao beaches in the north offer unspoiled beaches and luxury resorts.
For this itinerary, staying near Nai Harn and Rawai in the south is ideal as these areas are currently the most stunning and trendy.

How Long To Spend In Phuket
Phuket offers so many attractions that a weekend or three days isn’t enough. To fully explore the island, visit nearby islands, and perhaps even nearby provinces like Phang Nga or Krabi, a stay of at least seven days is recommended. If time allows, a 10-day or two-week stay will let you explore at a more leisurely pace.
The Ultimate 7-Day Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Relaxation, and Sunset
Settle into your hotel, relax at Nai Harn beach, and enjoy a sunset at The Windmill or Yanui beach. Have dinner at one of the seafood restaurants along Rawai Beach, such as Nikita’s, followed by live music at Freedom Bar or Rawai Reggae Bar.
Day 2: West Coast Beaches
Start with a hike to Promthep Cape, then head to Kata Beach for surfing or Kata Noi Beach for sunbathing. After lunch, visit Karon Beach and finish the day in Patong for dinner and nightlife on Bangla Road.
Day 3: Northern Beaches and Elephant Sanctuary
