Easy and Simple DIY Abstract Floral Art for Beginners
Feeling a creative block? Try this easy and simple abstract floral art on cardboard.
This art project is so straightforward that you can do it yourself. I created this simple art project at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown when I was experiencing a creative block. I was eager to paint, so I decided to do something fun and outside my usual style. That’s when I decided to use cardboard boxes lying around the house and turn them into “canvases.”
I call this project simple because all you need are basic art supplies. It’s one of my favorite beginner art projects because it’s all about combining colors, making marks, and adding doodle designs with a brush.
When painting, the only thing to keep in mind is to start with any white shapes and build your design from there.
I highly recommend this art project because it’s suitable for any age and also therapeutic! I want you to know that I am dedicated to sharing quick and easy ideas to explore.
Art should be fun and never a chore. If you’re considering starting this project, here’s what you’ll need:
1. Acrylic paint
2. Cardboard (a perfect canvas substitute)
3. Brushes of any size, your choice!
That’s it! Have fun!
